Apostle : Charles Covil
Pastor Charles Covil was born in North Carolina to the late Deacon Charles Covil and Bettie Covil in 1939. Pastor Covil moved to Newark, New Jersey and was later married to Evangelist Lucy Covil in 1960. God has blessed them with three beautiful children: Ayanna Covil Prayer, PFC Dakota Covil, and E3 A1C Candace Covil. They are also blessed with four Grandsons, Charles and Lucas Prayer, Antonio, and Ethan.

In 1970, God called, chose, healed, and saved my sin sick soul for the ministry under the leadership of the late Apostle Arturo Skinner. I accepted Jesus Christ into my life, and became a member of the Deliverance Evangelistic Center.

God saved me and filled me with his Holy Ghost and fire. I then attended four years of school at the DBI in Newark, New Jersey. I also attended one year at the School of Prophets, under the teaching of the late Apostle Skinner. I served eight months on the Usher Board, two years of Jr. Pastoring, followed by eight years in the Evangelistic field, and 29 years of Pastoring. In 1979 God gave us a charge to move to Greenville, NC and the Deliverance church was birthed through our ministering. In 1994, God anointed me to the Apostleship under the Positive Proof Ministering, under Apostle Frank Garris in Newark, New Jersey.

“A charge I have to keep and a God I have to Glorify”

Love, Apostle Charles Covil
